Hi I’m Jack!

My career hasn't followed a straight line, and that's been the point. I've photographed weddings in Hawaii, shot documentaries for my alma mader (Rock Chalk), designed for Garmin, co-founded a cocktail bar that was named Kansas City's Best New Bar and earned a national Tales of the Cocktail nomination inside two years, and been part of the small team that launched a bourbon brand from nothing — handling its creative and content as it grew to 46K Instagram followers in ten months.

Jumping between industries taught me something I didn't expect: the work is more alike than different. Whether I'm building a menu, a brand, or a YouTube channel (one I helped grow from 20K to 150K subscribers), it always comes down to the same things — understand who you're talking to, find the detail that's actually true, and craft it until it's worth someone's attention. A camera, a cocktail, and a campaign are all just ways of telling a story people want to be part of.
